Squirrelflight raised her head as her mouth parted into a huge yawn. She sat up to stretch surprised by how much effort it took to left her huge belly full of kits it would'nt be long now intil they were born. She looked up as Jayfeather entered the nursery his jaws packed with herbs. "Not more borage Jayfeather" the queen complained "sorry squirrelflight but your kits could be born any time now and you need to be ready" he meowed around his mouth full of herbs. Squirrelflight sighed "alright fine for the kits" she murmered as the she-cat dipped her head a swallowed the bitter-tasting herbs. Suddenly a sharp pain went though her belly and you let out a painfilled cry. Jayfeather turned his head sharpyly "what is it!?" he yowled "The kits.. the kits are coming" squirrelflight gasped as she fell down into her nest. Jayfeather turned he's head towards ferncloud her kits staring at then through wide scared eyes. "Fetch brightheart tell her whats happening and to bring me my herbs! and hurry" he yowled as the she-cat raced out into the clearing. "Bramblestar?" squirrelflight gasped her breath coming fast and shallow "is everything alright" dustpelt called from the front of the nursery "we heard a cat in pain?" "that would be me" growled squirrelflight "Her kits are coming..and fast fetch bramblestar NOW!" jayfeather called as the dark tabby rushed away. Jayfeather turned back to Squirrelflight looking worryed he saw that the she-cat was bearly awake! Then brightheart rushed in with ferncloud hard on her paws their mouths filled with herbs " thank star-clan!" murmered jayfeather
